PLAYBOOK Workshop Recap: Building the Tool Your Business Is Missing

“AI can help you build faster. You still shape the direction.”

PLAYBOOK, on the session’s key takeaway

Eleni Lialiamou, Founder of Kimolian, led Build the Tool Your Business Is Missing: Prototyping with Claude and Lovable, a workshop in the PLAYBOOK AI at Work Learning Series. It covered AI-assisted prototyping: using Claude to define a business problem and shape a brief, then using Lovable to turn that brief into a working prototype.

The audience was PLAYBOOK’s community of founders and professionals with an idea and no technical route to it. The workshop gave them a way to start from the business problem and work towards something they could build and test.

What Is AI-Assisted Prototyping, and Why Does It Start Before the Build?

The workshop was built around the thinking. Before anyone moves into a prototype, Claude can act as a strategy partner, helping work through the problem and turn it into a clear brief. Lovable then takes a strong brief and builds it into a working digital product.

The focus was defining the right problem clearly rather than building everything at once. Eleni encouraged attendees to treat Claude and Lovable as specialised support: one for sharper thinking, the other for building.

How Do You Turn a Business Problem into a Working Prototype?

PLAYBOOK’s recap sets out the session’s framework in four steps:

    • Frame: define what you need and why it matters.
    • Assemble: gather the right context, examples, audience insights and assumptions.
    • Create: use Claude to shape the brief, the questions and the direction.
    • Test: review, refine and improve before moving forward.

PLAYBOOK’s recap also noted that a better knowledge base leads to better AI support.

What Examples Did Eleni Share from Her Own Work?

Eleni described two examples. The first was Athena, the AI agent Kimolian built on Claude to support how the business runs. The questions that came up around it were practical ones. How do you separate assumptions from facts? How do you track decisions and learnings across conversations with agents? How do you organise work across roles and projects, and structure data so the model can find what it needs?

The second example turned a year of her own LinkedIn posts into insight. The analysis looked at theme, language, structure and topics against reactions, engagement and reach, to see what works for her audience. That history can then be used to test a new draft before it goes out, and to compare formats such as carousels, videos, infographics, and images with or without her in them.

When Can You Build It Yourself, and When Do You Still Need a Developer?

The workshop also covered how to tell what you can build yourself and when you still need a developer. A prototype tests an idea against a real business need, and some of what comes after it still calls for specialist technical work.

The goal was to learn how to turn real business problems into buildable solutions, with no need to become technical overnight.

    More Workshops Like This

Claude supported the thinking, structure and brief. Lovable supported the prototype and the build. Strategy came first, and the tool came after.

The response in the session chat was warm. Attendees found the hour insightful, and some said they wished it could keep going. Members can catch the replay on the PLAYBOOK App.

Workshops like this are a regular part of what we do at Kimolian, and we’ll keep running them.
